Industrial Twin Bed Demineralisers SBU Series

SEION Industrial Twin Bed Upflow Demineraliser type SBU are available in a wide range with maximum flow rates from 1500 to 50,000LPH.
These demineralisers comprises two mild steel rubber-lined pressure vessels filled strongly basic anion exchangers. They are available in a range of diameters. The typical modular construc-tion permits flexibility in the selection of cation and anion units to cater to different types of raw water. Degasser modules for the range of SBU units are also available. These are useful for raw waters containing a significant amount of alkalinity.

Advantages :

  • Easy to install.
  • Simple to operate.
  • Complete with regeneration equipment and control.

Specifications :

  • One mild steel pressure vessel internally lined with rubber, provided with internal fittings and initial charge of cation and anion exchangers.
  • One set of regeneration equipments, including hydraulic ejectors, acid and alkali tanks.
  • One set of frontal MSRL pipework and valves.
  • One mild steel base frame for mounting cation and anion units.
  • One conductivity meter to monitor treated water quality.

Average Treated Water quality :

  • pH:7.5 – 9..5.
  • Electrical Conductivity at 20oC : 10-30 microsiemens/cm.

Note :

  • Feed water should be free from turbidity, free chlorine organic matter, heavy metals and oil, and should be at ambient temperature.
  • Output per regeneration and the treated water quality & conductivity depends on the analysis of inlet water quality.
