U - Series Softeners

SEION U Flow Softeners incorporate the proven technique of counter flow regeneration, which produces treated water with low-residual hardness throughout the cycle.SEION U Flow Softeners are designed to suit small and medium sized industries.
A strongly acidic cation exchanger in sodium form is used to exchanger in sodium ions for hardness forming calcium and magnesium, and thus produce soft water. At the end of the each service cycle, the ion exchanger is regenerate with sodium chloride solution, after which the unit is ready for the next service cycle.The unit can be easily assembled and does not require any elaborate foundation.
SEION Packaged U flow Softeners are available in different sizes, as given in the Technical data, and also now are available in FRP module.

Note :

  • Raw water should be free from turbidity, free chlorine organic matter, heavy metals and oil should be at ambient temperature.
  • The output per regeneration and the treated water quality depends on the analysis of inlet water.
